Mersen FSB1 - Mersen's complete line of single and dual pole in-line fuseholders accommodate Class CC fuses. The fuseholders are designed for quick installation. Securing nuts or screws are captive thus speeding installation by reducing the need to locate and assemble loose components in the field. Three internal O-rings per pole seal the fuseholder providing a water-resistant compartment for the fuse. The captive O-rings are colored (blue for single pole and red for dual pole) for quick detection. Optional cone shaped insulator boots can be slipped on to provide a watertight seal (breakaway versions come with boots standard). Both single and dual pole versions have an optional breakaway feature which safely disconnects the load in case of a pole knockdown. Fuses remain safely encapsulated within the watertight fuse holder on the load side. Once the pole has been reinstalled the fuseholder can be easily reconnected. single terminal boot

Overview

Mersen FSB1 single and dual pole in-line fuseholders (SKU: FSB1) are engineered for Class CC fuses (1-1/2" x 13/32", 10 x 38 mm) in 600VAC/DC applications up to 30A. Designed for rapid field installation, these fuseholders feature captive securing nuts or screws to eliminate loose components and reduce assembly time. Each pole includes three internal O-rings (blue for single pole, red for dual pole) that create a water-resistant compartment around the fuse, ensuring reliable operation in humid or corrosive environments such as street lighting, parking lot lighting, traffic signaling, sports lighting, boats, and marinas. Optional cone-shaped insulator boots provide a watertight seal, with breakaway versions including these boots as standard. The breakaway feature safely disconnects the load during pole knockdown, keeping fuses encapsulated within the watertight holder for protection. Once the pole is reinstalled, the fuseholder can be easily reconnected without tool intervention. Available in both single and dual pole configurations with screw terminal connections, the FSB1 fuseholders are UL Listed (Class CC Guide IZLT, File E52283), UL Recognized Component (Midget Guide IZLT2), and CSA Certified (Class CC and Midget, Class 6225, File 32169). The fuseholders accept recommended fuses including ATDR, ATMR, ATQR (Class CC) and ATQ, ATM, TRM, OTM, GGU, GFN, A13X-2, A25Z-2, A60Q-2, A6Y-2B (Midget). With a temperature rating of 155°C and short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 200kA for Class CC fuses and 100kA for Midget fuses, the FSB1 delivers robust performance in demanding industrial and commercial applications.
