Overview

Hammond Manufacturing R100 Series Type 4X Die-Cast Aluminum Enclosures (SKU: R101-202-000) for industrial use as electronic instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, or terminal wiring enclosures. Watertight, thick-wall construction in aluminum die-cast alloy (G AI SI 12 / DIN 1775). Shallow lid, deep body design maximizes internal space. Captive stainless steel lid screws and mounting holes positioned outside gasket seal preserve watertight integrity. Single-channel mounting design increases interior volume vs. dual-channel enclosures. Internal mounting shelves with blind holes and grounding screws on both sides. Threaded enclosure holes enable repetitive installation/disassembly. External zinc-die-cast mounting feet rotate 90 degrees. Fastening holes with engagement lugs ensure secure mounting. All sizes include inner blind holes for additional mounting flexibility. Standard neoprene gasket is oil and petrol resistant, rated -40ºC to +80ºC. Optional inner mounting panel available in zinc-plated steel. Certifications: NEMA 4X, IP66, DIN 40050, CSA certified, UL Listed. Suitable for industrial control equipment. Standard finish: textured polyester powder coat in beige RAL7032. Light grey RAL7035 and unpainted options available on special order.
