Overview

The CompleTech CA860C3 is an offset pattern collinear antenna designed for reliable wireless communication within the 830-890 MHz frequency range. This antenna features a substantial 10 dBi gain and vertical polarization, ensuring effective signal transmission and reception. Its construction utilizes a UV-resistant ABS/FG radome with PU foam filling, providing robust protection against environmental factors. The radiator is made of high-conductivity copper for superior signal integrity. Mounting is facilitated by an aluminum alloy bracket compatible with 35-60 mm diameter poles, secured with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts. The CA860C3 offers a VSWR of less than 1.5, indicating efficient impedance matching. For lightning protection, it features a DC-short circuited feed point. The operating temperature range is -40ºC to +80ºC, and it boasts an IP67 rating for dust and water ingress protection. Key frequency-independent features include a combination of durability, light weight, low wind load, a radome-enclosed radiator, IP67 proof construction, and all electromechanics molded inside closed-cell PU foam. It also incorporates integrated impedance compensation and an RF choke. The antenna is equipped with an N-female connector. The wind load rating is 75 N. This antenna is suitable for industrial and telecom applications requiring stable and efficient wireless connectivity in challenging environments.
