It can be connected or disconnected using standard hand tools and equipment, but only in a de-energized state.

It can be mated with K651CP, K650BIP, K650RTP, K650RTW, K650S1, K650T1, K650JX, and K650ETP.

The K655VSL3 meets ANSI/IEEE Standard 386, Latest Revision.

The impulse withstand (BIL) rating is 140kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

The K655VSL3 has a continuous current rating of 600 Amp.
