Each K650J3 kit contains one basic molded junction, mounting hardware, two tubes of lubricant, installation instructions, and three protective caps.

To order the K650J3 junction with "U" style mounting straps only, add "-5" at the end of the catalog number.

For the 28kV voltage class, the continuous current rating is 600 Amp.

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV and the maximum phase-to-phase is 28kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the continuous current rating is 600 Amp.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV and the maximum phase-to-phase is 14.4kV.

The K650J3 junction meets ANSI/IEEE Standard 386, Latest Revision.

The K650J3 is a 15/25kV, 600 Amp Deadbreak 3-Way Junction. It features a fully shielded, submersible molded rubber housing.

ELASTIMOLD® junctions are designed for subsurface, vault, or padmount applications. They can be used for sectionalizing, looping, tapping, and equipment bypass.

The K650J3 provides mating for Elastimold® 600 A Series Elbow connectors. It also mates with K655 Elbow Connector, K655BE Bushing Extender, and 655BEA3 Bushing Adapter.
