The K650J2 is a 15/25kV, 600 Amp Deadbreak 2-Way Junction.

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV.

The Basic Impulse Level (BIL) for the 15kV voltage class is 95kV.

The Basic Impulse Level (BIL) for the 28kV voltage class is 140kV.

It is equipped with a stainless steel mounting bracket and back plate suitable for mounting on a flat surface.

The K650J2 junction meets ANSI/IEEE Standard 386, Latest Revision.

It is designed to mate with K655 Elbow Connector, K655BE Bushing Extender, and 655BEA3 Bushing Adapter.

It can be used for sectionalizing, looping, tapping, and equipment bypass.
