Overview

The ABB GP2250-2 E-Z-Ground Ground Plate Copper Compression Connector provides a permanent, high-conductivity grounding solution for cables ranging from #2 to 250 kcmil. Engineered from heavy-wall, extruded high-conductivity copper, this connector delivers exceptional mechanical strength and electrical performance for industrial grounding systems. Designed for conductor-to-conductor, conductor-to-ground rod, and conductor-to-rebar applications, the GP2250-2 eliminates the need for multiple components while ensuring a corrosion-resistant connection. The pre-applied conductive antioxidant compound guarantees optimal conductivity and reduces installation time by simplifying the crimping process. The compression design prevents loose connections, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. Installation requires hex crimp dies (15G86R) and hydraulic tooling for a permanent, low-resistance bond.
