This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the FPT449 Poke-Through fitting, including mounting, wiring, and sealing procedures.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Putty, Silicone sealant, Carpet
- Core the hole
Core a 3-inch diameter hole through the floor to accommodate the Poke-Through fitting. Ensure that the location bracket will be flush with the concrete floor.
- Insert the fitting
Insert the through-floor fitting into the hole and orient the plastic power tube into the desired position. Ensure the location bracket is flush with the concrete floor.
- Feed and secure wires
Feed the tele/data and power wires into the mounting plate. Attach the mounting plate to the Poke-Through fitting using the screws provided.
- Seal the fitting
Fill the inside of the Poke-Through device with the supplied putty around all wires. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the mounting plate underneath the cover.
- Attach the cover
Attach the cover and gasket to the mounting plate using the three flat head screws provided. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Replace carpet
If carpeting was removed, replace it now by cutting a 5-1/4 inch hole in the carpet over the Poke-Through fitting.
