End A of the ABB CS65 splice is designed for 4/1 and 7/1 ASCR, 3-4 AWG stranded aluminum, and 2 AWG solid aluminum conductors. It is identified by orange color coding.

End B of the ABB CS65 splice is designed for 10 AWG stranded aluminum and 8 AWG solid aluminum conductors. It is identified by brown color coding.

A 5/8 die is required for the proper installation of the ABB CS65 compression splice.
