Installation guide for mounting and securing the WS626318SS Watershed Free-Standing Enclosure.
Estimated time: 1h
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Hammer, Level, Pry bar, Vibrating hammer (optional)
Supplies needed:
Mounting fasteners, Shims, Silicon rubber sealant, Hole seals, Grounding hardware
- Prepare for Mounting
Ensure the enclosure is stable before opening doors. If the enclosure is to be NSF certified, maintain a minimum of six inches of clearance underneath and seal the perimeter between the enclosure back and mounting surface with silicon rubber sealant. Replace lifting eyes with hole seals if required for NSF certification.
- Mount the Enclosure
For wall-mounted enclosures, use proper fasteners in all mounting holes to secure the enclosure to the wall using the internal mounting means or external mounting feet. For floor-mounted enclosures, use proper fasteners in all mounting holes to securely anchor the enclosure to the floor using the included floor-stands (legs).
- Adjust Doors (if applicable)
If the enclosure is floor-mounted and the doors do not close evenly, place metal shims under the corners of the enclosure. Ensure the enclosure is bolted in place with the doors closed before installing shims. Shims under the right front corner will raise the right door, and shims under the left front corner will raise the left door. Verify all mounting bolts are tightened securely once the doors meet evenly.
- Install Interior Panel
Position the interior panel on the mounting studs. If necessary, slightly bend one or more mounting studs with a suitable screwdriver inserted through the panel holes to allow the panel to fit in place. Ensure the panel is securely seated.
- Install Grounding Hardware
Install the necessary hardware for grounding the back panel and doors to the enclosure body using the provided hardware kit. Follow the specific procedures included with the ground kits for proper installation.
- Final Checks
Verify that all internal and external electrical and mechanical clearances are checked to assure that all assembled equipment functions safely and properly. Ensure all mounting bolts and fasteners are securely tightened.
