How to Install the TX Heat Exchanger
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the TX heat exchanger, ensuring proper mounting and electrical connections.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gasket kit, Power cord
- Inspect the heat exchanger
Check the heat exchanger for any visible damage that may have occurred during shipping. Ensure all components are intact and functional before proceeding.
- Prepare the mounting area
Determine whether the unit will be surface or recess mounted. Use the cutout dimensions provided in the manual to prepare the enclosure opening accordingly.
- Install gaskets
Using the gasket kit provided, apply gaskets to the heat exchanger to ensure a proper seal.
- Mount the heat exchanger
Secure the heat exchanger to the enclosure using the mounting screws provided. Torque the screws to 25 in-lbs (2.82 Nm) to ensure a firm attachment.
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the unit nameplate for electrical requirements. Connect the power cord to a properly grounded power supply, ensuring that the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Test functionality
Before finalizing the installation, operate the heat exchanger for several minutes to verify that there is no excessive noise or vibration. Ensure that the ambient air mover operates correctly.
