The nVent TC5X Current Transformer Cabinet (SKU: TC5X) is a Type 3R enclosure designed for outdoor protection of electrical metering and protection equipment in utility, industrial, and commercial applications. This 46x30x16 inch cabinet houses instrument current transformers for transformer-rated watt-hour metering, service entrance metering, and protection relay enclosures. Constructed from 14-gauge galvanized steel body and cover with a 16-gauge galvanized steel bottom, the TC5X offers superior durability against harsh environments. Its ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish provides corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The cabinet features a drip-shield top, seam-free sides, front, and back to prevent water ingress, along with provisions for padlocking, a ground lug, and mounting holes on the back for easy installation. UL 50, 50E Listed and cUL Listed per CSA C22.2 No. 94, the TC5X supports 3-phase applications from 400 to 1200 Amps and complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP32 standards.
