- Inspect the air conditioner

- Prepare the mounting area
Determine if the unit will be surface or recess mounted. Prepare the enclosure opening according to the mounting cutout dimensions specified in the manual.
- Install gaskets
Using the gasket kit provided, install the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a proper seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Secure the air conditioner to the enclosure using the provided mounting bolts and screws. Ensure the unit remains upright during installation.
- Connect the drain tube
Route the drain tube ensuring it is not kinked and maintains a continuous downward slope to prevent overflow of the condensate drain pan.
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and connect the power cord to a properly grounded power supply. Avoid using an extension cord.
- Adjust the thermostat
Remove the nylon plug from the back of the unit and use a screwdriver to adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature setting.
