This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the mechanical assembly of the SPM-3R floor-standing enclosure, including mounting the lift handle, top panel, back panel, and bottom plates.
Estimated time: 1h 30m
Tools needed:
T30 driver, SW10 wrench, T25 driver, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
M5x10 screws, M5 nuts, M6x12 screws, St. 5.5x10 screws, M8x16 screws, BG01 sealing components (optional)
- Mount the Lift Handle
Position the metal guider (A) on the enclosure door. Place the lift handle (1) onto the metal guider. Secure the lift handle to the metal guider using four M5x10 screws (B) and two M5 nuts (C). Use a T30 driver and SW10 wrench to tighten the screws to a torque of 4-5.5 Nm.
- Install the Top Panel
Carefully place the top panel onto the enclosure frame. Secure the top panel using the specified M5x10 screws (A) and M6x12 screws (B). Use T25 and T30 drivers to tighten all screws to a torque of 4-5 Nm.
- Install the Back Panel
Position the back panel onto the rear of the enclosure. Secure the back panel using the St. 5.5x10 screws (A) and M6x12 screws (B). Tighten these screws to a torque of 4.5-5 Nm using a T25 driver. Then, install and tighten the M6x12 screws (C) to a torque of 10-15 Nm.
- Mount the Bottom Plates
Position the four bottom plates (1, 2, 3, 4) onto the base of the enclosure. Secure each bottom plate using the M8x16 screws (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) as indicated in the diagram. Use a T30 driver to tighten all M8x16 screws to a torque of 10-15 Nm.
- Seal Bottom Plates for IP55
If an IP55 rating is required, install the BG01 sealing components (ordered separately) into the bottom plates. Ensure each sealing component clicks firmly into place to create a watertight seal.
