The nVent ProLine-SY Type 12 enclosure (SKU: PSY1666) provides robust protection for industrial control and automation systems. Constructed from 2.5 mm roll-formed, robotically welded solid steel with fully welded corners, this freestanding enclosure measures 1600mm (63.0 in) H x 600mm (23.6 in) W x 600mm (23.6 in) D. It meets Type 12/IP55 environmental ratings, offering protection against falling dirt and dripping water. The modular design features a solid top, rear door, bottom door, base, and sides. Internally, it includes ground studs on the door, rear, and top panel for secure grounding. The enclosure accommodates a 25 mm DIN standard and supports up to 33 rack-mount units. Access is provided by dual doors, one front and one rear, with a double-bit insert lock. Seamless foam-in-place gaskets ensure a protective seal against moisture and contaminants. Optional accessories, such as window doors and operator interface cutouts, are available for customization.
