Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Orifice plates
- Prepare the installation site
Use the supplied mounting template to cut mounting holes into the enclosure. Ensure that the Control Unit and Relief Valve are diagonally opposed for optimal installation.
- Mount the Control Unit and Relief Valve
Securely fix the Control Unit and Relief Valve to the enclosure using the mounting screws. Ensure both components are properly aligned and securely attached.
- Install the Spark Arrestor
Select the appropriate orifice for the required purge flow rate and fit it into the Spark Arrestor using the circle-clip. Attach the Spark Arrestor to the enclosure, ensuring it is diagonally opposed to the Control Unit.
- Connect the air supply
Connect the isolated air supply to the Control Unit. Ensure that the supply pressure is set to 60 PSIG (4 bar) and does not exceed 115 PSIG (8 bar).
- Check enclosure integrity
Ensure that the enclosure door is closed, fully latched, and free of leaks before proceeding.
- Adjust the Flow Control Valve
Slowly increase the Flow Control Valve until the Alarm Indicator changes from RED to GREEN, indicating that the enclosure is pressurized.
- Power up the enclosure
After the purge time has been completed, power can be applied to the enclosure. Ensure that all safety checks have been performed before powering on.
