The nVent MCU3126R5 front/rear top frame is a 300x1200x600mm steel accessory designed for floor-standing MCU enclosures. Constructed from 1.75mm steel plate with a RAL 7035 structured powder coating, this frame provides additional top-level cable management space while maintaining IP 41 protection when paired with compatible panels. The universal hole pattern supports easy mounting of accessories, including side panels (MCUP series) and other enclosure components. Compatible with MCU enclosures measuring 300mm width x 1200mm height x 600mm depth, this frame integrates seamlessly with nVent's modular enclosure system. The frame ships as a single unit with front and rear panels and mounting hardware, excluding roof plates. All components feature zinc-plated steel 19" profiles with adjustable depth mounting in 25mm increments for flexible cable routing.   1. Prepare Gasket for Wide MCU (if applicable)

    For MCU units 1000mm or wider, ensure the gasket is correctly positioned and fixed outside the corner holes as indicated in the diagram. This ensures proper sealing and fitment.

  2. Install and Torque Primary Fasteners

    Install components A (M12x20 screws) and B (M12 nuts), tightening to a torque of 10-15Nm. Next, install components C (M8 nuts), D (M8 washers), and E (M8x16 screws), tightening these to 8-10Nm. Finally, install components F (M6x12 screws, 2 pcs) and G (4.5x8 screws), tightening to 15-20Nm. Use appropriate wrenches (SW10, SW13, T25, T30) and a calibrated torque wrench for all connections to ensure secure fastening.

  3. Install and Torque Secondary Fasteners

    Attach components H (M5x10 screws), J (M6 nuts), K (2 pcs), L (2 pcs), and the remaining F (M6x12 screws, 4 pcs) as shown in the diagram. Tighten all these connections to a torque of 4-5Nm using appropriate tools and a calibrated torque wrench.

  4. Fix Bayed Variant with CCI06 Brackets (Optional)

    If using the bayed variant for MCU, secure the unit using CCI06 brackets. Note that CCI06 brackets must be ordered separately. Refer to the specific CCI06 bracket documentation for detailed installation steps and torque requirements.

  5. Perform Alternative Fixation with CNT05 (Optional)

    For an alternative fixation method, use the CNT05 components, which must be ordered separately. Follow the three-step procedure indicated in the diagram: 1) Position the CNT05 component, 2) Secure it in place, and 3) Tighten the fasteners to a torque of 4.5-5Nm. Use a T25 wrench and a calibrated torque wrench for this step.
