Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Torque wrench (capable of 4-20 Nm), T30 Torx bit/wrench, T25 Torx bit/wrench, 10mm socket wrench (SW10), 13mm socket wrench (SW13), Screwdriver for 4.5x8mm screws
Supplies needed:
M12x20 screws (4 pcs), M12 nuts (4 pcs), M8 nuts (8 pcs), M8x16 screws (4 pcs), M6x12 screws (6 pcs), 4.5x8 screws (6 pcs), M5x10 screws (6 pcs), M6 nuts (4 pcs), K components (2 pcs), L components (2 pcs), Gaskets (as required for MCU >= 1000 wide), CCI06 brackets (if installing bayed variant, ordered separately), CNT05 fixation components (if using alternative fixation, ordered separately)
- Perform Initial Structural Assembly
Using the M12x20 screws (A) and M12 nuts (B), secure the primary structural components, applying a torque of 15-20Nm. Attach the M8x16 screws (E) with M8 nuts (C, D) and tighten to 10-15Nm. Finally, use the M6x12 screws (F) and 4.5x8 screws (G) for remaining connections, applying 8-10Nm and 4-5Nm torque respectively.
- Assemble Components for Wider MCU Units (≥1000mm)
If your MCU unit is 1000mm or wider, attach the M5x10 screws (H) and M6x12 screws (F) with M6 nuts (J). Secure components K and L. Ensure the gasket is correctly fixed outside the corner holes as indicated, applying a torque of 4-5Nm for these connections.
- Install Bayed Variant (Optional)
For bayed variant installations, ensure you have the CCI06 brackets (ordered separately). Mount the MCU unit using the T25 screws and align it with other bayed units as per the diagram, maintaining a 60mm spacing.
- Implement Alternative Fixation (Optional)
If using the alternative fixation method, utilize the CNT05 components (ordered separately). Secure the unit with the 4.5x8 screws, applying a torque of 4.5-5Nm as shown in the alternative fixation diagram.
