This guide provides step-by-step instructions for mounting the MCU2126R5 unit, covering standard and alternative fixation methods with detailed torque specifications for all fasteners.
Estimated time: 1h
Tools needed:
Torque wrench, T30 Torx bit, T25 Torx bit, SW10 wrench or socket, SW13 wrench or socket
Supplies needed:
M12x20 screws (4 pcs), M12 nuts (4 pcs), M8 nuts (4 pcs), M8x16 screws (4 pcs), M6x12 screws (6 pcs), 4.5x8 screws (6 pcs), M5x10 screws (6 pcs), M6 nuts (4 pcs), Gasket, CCI06 brackets (if using bayed variant, ordered separately), CNT05 fixation kit (if using alternative fixation, ordered separately)
- Prepare Gasket and MCU Unit
Before mounting, ensure the gasket is correctly positioned and fixed outside the corner holes of the MCU unit. This is a critical step for proper sealing and protection of the unit.
- Install Primary Mounting Hardware
Begin by installing the primary mounting hardware. Use 4 M12x20 screws (A) with 4 M12 nuts (B), 4 M8 nuts (C), and 4 M8x16 screws (E). Tighten these fasteners to a torque of 15-20Nm. Additionally, secure 2 M6x12 screws (F) and 6 4.5x8 screws (G) to a torque of 4-5Nm. Use appropriate wrenches (SW10, SW13) and Torx bits (T30) as needed.
- Secure Supplementary or Alternative Fixation
For MCU units 1000mm wide or larger, or for bayed variants, install the supplementary fixation. Use 6 M5x10 screws (H) and 4 M6x12 screws (F) with 4 M6 nuts (J). Tighten these to a torque of 4-5Nm using a T25 Torx bit. If using the alternative fixation with CNT05 (to be ordered separately), secure it with its specific fasteners to a torque of 4.5-5Nm. Ensure CCI06 brackets are ordered and used if applicable for bayed variants.
