- Prepare Mounting Hardware and Tools
Gather all necessary fasteners including M12x20 (A), M12 (B), M8 (C), M8 (D), M8x16 (E), M6x12 (F), 4.5x8 (G), M5x10 (H), M6 (J), and gaskets (K, L). Ensure you have the required tools: Torx T30, Torx T25, Socket Wrench SW10, Socket Wrench SW13, and a calibrated torque wrench.
- Install Primary Fixation Points
Secure the main mounting points of the MCU unit. Use the M12x20 screws (A) and M12 nuts (B) and tighten these connections to a torque of 10-15Nm. Next, attach the M8 nuts (C), M8 washers (D), and M8x16 screws (E) to their designated positions. Apply a torque of 8-10Nm for connections involving C and D, and 15-20Nm for connections involving E, as indicated in the diagram.
- Complete Secondary Fixation and Gasket Installation
Fasten any remaining components using the M6x12 screws (F) and M6 nuts (J), tightening to 4-5Nm. Secure additional points with 4.5x8 screws (G) and M5x10 screws (H), applying a torque of 4-5Nm. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Ensure the gasket (K, L) is fixed *outside* the corner holes. This is critical, especially for MCU units 1000mm or wider. If using the bayed variant, install CCI06 brackets (ordered separately). For alternative fixation, install CNT05 (ordered separately) with a torque of 4.5-5Nm.
