This guide provides instructions for the mechanical installation and securing of the MCU2106R5 controller, including proper gasket placement and torque specifications for various fasteners. Follow these steps for a secure and correct setup.
Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Torque wrench, Screwdriver, Socket wrench
Supplies needed:
M12x20 bolts, M12 nuts, M8 bolts, M8 nuts, M8x16 bolts, M6x12 bolts, M6 nuts, M5x10 bolts, 4.5x8 screws, Gasket, K components, L components
- Prepare the MCU for mounting and gasket placement
Before mounting, ensure the gasket is correctly positioned and fixed outside the corner holes of the MCU unit. This is crucial for proper sealing, especially for MCU units 1000mm wide or greater. Verify the gasket is seated properly before proceeding.
- Mount the main MCU unit using M12 and M8 fasteners
Secure the main MCU unit using the four M12x20 bolts (A) with their corresponding M12 nuts (B). Apply a torque of 15-20Nm for bolts A and 10-15Nm for nuts B. Next, use the four M8 bolts (C) with M8 nuts (D) and the four M8x16 bolts (E), applying a torque of 8-10Nm for bolts C. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to the specified torque for a secure installation.
- Attach secondary components or covers using M6 and M5 fasteners
Proceed to attach any secondary components or covers. Use the four M6x12 bolts (F) with four M6 nuts (J), six M5x10 bolts (H), and the two K and two L components. Tighten all these fasteners to a torque of 4-5Nm. Additionally, secure any remaining components with the six 4.5x8 screws (G) to complete the assembly.
