The nVent KBAU6MBNCWCLE is a brass hazardous location cable gland (SKU: KBAU6MBNCWCLE) designed for armored cables in explosive gas and dust environments. Certified for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 per ATEX (II2GD Ex d IIC Gb, Ex e IIC Gb, Ex tb IIIC Db) and IECEx standards, this gland meets IEC/EN 60079-0, -1, -7, -31, UL2225, and CSA C22.2 No.60079 series. It features a durable nickel-plated brass construction with a chloroprene seal rated for -40°C to 100°C (-40°F to 212°F). The M63x1.5 metric thread ensures compatibility with standard industrial enclosures. Supplied as a kit with chloroprene washer, locknut, and earth tag, it provides three levels of removable seals for a clamping range of 40.0–52.0 mm (1.57–2.05 in) armor wire diameter. IP66/68 rated for dust and moisture ingress protection, this gland is ideal for oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, and power generation applications where flameproof (Ex d), increased safety (Ex e), or dust-tight (Ex tb) protection is required.
