Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template

  1. Prepare the enclosure

    Apply the cutout template to the desired side of the enclosure and ensure all internal components are clear of the cutting area.

  2. Cut the hole

    Cut out the hole in the enclosure using the appropriate size for the model you purchased. Deburr the cutting edge to remove sharp edges.

  3. Insert the fan or grille

    Insert the fan or grille into the cutout and push until all four corners snap and lock into place.

  4. Install mounting fasteners

    If the enclosure material thickness is between .10 (2.5 mm) and .14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than .14 (3.5 mm), removal of the grille is required to install fasteners.

  5. Torque fasteners

    Torque the fasteners to 20-25 in-lbs (2.3-2.8 Nm) to secure the grille properly.

  6. Verify clearance

    Ensure that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 inches (178 mm) from any obstruction.

  7. Wire the filter fan
