How to Install the HF1324513 Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HF1324513 filter fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HF1324513 model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge, then insert the filter fan into the opening until all four corners snap and lock into place.
- Secure the filter fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure mounting fasteners are used to maintain the IP/Type 12 rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Refer to the wiring diagrams for the HF1324513 model and connect the wires accordingly, ensuring correct polarity.
- Verify installation
Check that the enclosure with the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstruction.
