How to Install the HF1316414R Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HF1316414R filter fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HF1316414R model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge and insert the filter fan or grille into the opening until all four corners are snapped and locked.
- Secure the installation
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are used to maintain the IP/Type 12 rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided on page 5 of the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply.
- Verify clearance
Ensure that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstructions.
- Test the installation
Use a multimeter to verify that the filter fan is receiving the correct voltage and is functioning properly.
