How to Install the Side-Mount Filter Fans and Grilles
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing side-mount filter fans and grilles in an enclosure.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and ensure it is properly aligned.
- Cut the opening
Using the appropriate tool, cut out the hole in the enclosure as per the template specifications for your model.
- Insert the fan or grille
Deburr the cutting edge, then insert the fan or grille into the opening until all four corners snap and lock into place.
- Secure the installation
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 and 0.14 inches, install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 inches, ensure fasteners are used to maintain the IP/Type 12 rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure.
