This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation and initial setup of the G520846G101 air conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Screwdriver, Wrench or ratchet driver, Wire strippers, Multimeter

Mounting screws, Mounting gasket kit, Terminal connectors
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check for any visible damage and ensure the unit is functioning properly before installation. Do not operate the air conditioner if it has been in a horizontal position; allow it to stand upright for at least five minutes.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the mounting gasket kit provided, apply the gaskets to the air conditioner to create a seal between the unit and the enclosure.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the gaskets. Start the mounting screws by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with a wrench or ratchet driver.
- Wire the air conditioner
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and wire the unit to a properly grounded power supply. Ensure the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Verify electrical phasing
For 3-phase units, after applying power, check that the phase monitor light is illuminated to confirm correct electrical phasing. If not, disconnect power and swap any two power leads.
- Set thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature. Remove the protective plastic bushing to access the thermostat dial if necessary.
