How to Install the G28 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the G28 Air Conditioner, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Mounting gasket
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and ensure it is functioning correctly before installation. Do not operate the unit if it has been in a horizontal position for more than five minutes.
- Install mounting gaskets
Using the provided mounting gasket kit, attach the gaskets to the air conditioner to ensure a watertight seal.
- Mount the air conditioner
Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure, ensuring not to damage the mounting gasket. Start the bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Wire the air conditioner
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements and connect the unit to a properly grounded power supply. Ensure the circuit is fused with a slow blow or HACR circuit breaker.
- Verify electrical phasing
For 3-phase units, check that the phase monitor light is illuminated after applying power, indicating correct phasing.
- Connect the thermostat
If required, wire the remote mounted thermostat outputs to the appropriate terminals on the 24 VAC terminal strip according to the wiring diagram.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired cabinet temperature, following the guidelines in the Sequence of Operation.
- Test the air conditioner
Allow the unit to remain upright for at least five minutes before starting. Power on the air conditioner and verify that the evaporator blower starts running.
