Overview

The nVent F66WRE44SS is a high-quality Reducer Bushing designed for seamless transitions between different wireway sizes in industrial environments. Manufactured by nVent, a trusted leader in electrical enclosure solutions, this specific model facilitates a reduction from a 6x6 inch wireway to a 4x4 inch wireway. Constructed from durable SS304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, it offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for applications exposed to frequent washdowns, high moisture levels, or aggressive chemical environments. This ensures the longevity and integrity of your critical wiring and cabling infrastructure. This Reducer Bushing is engineered for both feed-through and edge-hole configurations. The center hole bushing precisely aligns the two wireway sizes, maintaining a clean and organized conduit path. Simultaneously, the edge hole bushing ensures that the top surfaces of the connected wireway sections remain flush, providing a smooth and professional installation. This attention to detail is crucial for maintaining enclosure integrity and preventing ingress of contaminants. Key features and benefits of the nVent F66WRE44SS include: * **Material Excellence:** Fabricated from SS304 stainless steel, offering superior corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for demanding industrial settings. * **Versatile Sizing:** Enables a precise reduction from 6x6 inch to 4x4 inch wireway dimensions, accommodating diverse system designs. * **Dual Bushing Design:** Incorporates both center and edge hole bushings for optimal alignment and flush surface integration. * **Environmental Protection:** Specifically designed for applications requiring protection against moisture, dust, and corrosive elements, ensuring wire and cable safety. * **Ease of Integration:** Connects seamlessly with other nVent wireway sections and fittings, simplifying installation and system expansion. * **Aesthetic Finish:** The brushed stainless steel provides a clean, professional appearance suitable for visible installations. This reducer bushing is an essential component for electrical contractors, system integrators, and maintenance professionals working in industries such as food and beverage processing, chemical plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and marine environments. Its robust construction and thoughtful design contribute to reliable system performance and compliance with stringent industry standards. The nVent F66WRE44SS (SKU: F66WRE44SS) exemplifies nVent's commitment to providing durable, high-performance solutions for critical electrical infrastructure protection. When selecting wireway components, choosing materials and designs that withstand harsh conditions is paramount, and this reducer bushing delivers on those requirements.

How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connection.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wire strippers

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert the body into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned and secure with screws and nuts.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Make necessary cutouts

If installing a box entry, trace the connector flange cutout on the enclosure and make the cutout. Position the connector flange and gasket inside the enclosure, then attach the swivel nipple outside.

  5. Verify grounding continuity

If the wireway is to be used for grounding, ensure that provisions are made for grounding continuity across the telescope fitting.
