Screwdriver, Torque wrench (recommended for precise tightening)
Supplies needed:
Hex Screws 10-32X.250 (4x), Hex Nuts 10-32 (2x), Lock Washers #10 (2x)
- Engage Wireway Sections
Align the two sections of the Type 1 Wireway. Push them together firmly until the snap connect feature audibly 'clicks' into place, indicating a secure initial engagement.
- Install Securing Hardware
Insert the four 10-32X.250 hex screws through the designated holes in the connected wireway sections. On the opposite side, attach two 10-32 hex nuts and two #10 lock washers to the screws, finger-tightening them initially to hold them in place.
- Tighten Connections to Specification
Using a screwdriver or torque wrench, tighten the securing hardware to a torque of 4.5 0.5 N*M (40 4.0 LBF*IN). Ensure all connections are firm and secure to maintain the integrity of the wireway.
