Overview

The nVent F66T112GVP is a Type 1 rated straight section wireway designed for efficient wire and cable management in industrial and commercial applications. This 6x6x12 inch gray steel section features a lay-in design with a flat cover, allowing cables to be laid directly into the open channel without pulling, reducing insulation damage risk. The flat cover supports flush mounting against walls or ceilings for a clean aesthetic and includes keyhole screw slots for quick access and maintenance. Constructed from 16-gauge mild steel with a powder-coated gray finish, it provides durable protection in demanding environments. Sections are available in lengths from 12 to 120 inches, with or without knockouts, and feature Snap Connect for ease of installation. Compatible with legacy U-Connectors, this wireway is ideal for manufacturing plants, data centers, commercial buildings, and power distribution facilities where organized, accessible wire pathways are critical.
  • Lay-in Flat-Cover Type 1 Straight Sections are used for enclosing wire and cable in wireway runs
  • Sections are completely open on one side so wires and cables can be laid-in along run
  • Lay-in design eliminates the action of pulling wires or cables, which can result in insulation damage
  • Flat-cover design supports mounting flush with walls or ceilings
  • Covers feature keyhole screw slots which simplify cover installation and removal, and limit risk of losing securing screws
  • Sections available in lengths from 12 to 120 inches, with or without knockouts
  • 4"x4" and 6"x6" Straight Sections re-designed with Snap Connect features for ease-of-installation; sections are backwards compatible if a legacy U-Connector is present
