How to Install the Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and sealing a Lay-In Wireway for effective cable management.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Sealing plates

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the installation details.

  2. Seal the joints

For joints between lay-in sections, position the LSGQR fitting and install it with a shoulder bolt, ensuring the gaskets are visible from above. Rotate the cam to lock the position.

  3. Install box entries

Make a cutout in the enclosure for the box connector and position a gasket inside the enclosure. Then, install a 90° angle sealing plate to secure the connection.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting. Insert the fitting into the straight section and adjust to the desired length.

  5. Anchor the telescope fitting

Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws through the holes and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure that the wireway is level and securely mounted. Measure the extension of the telescope fitting to confirm it is equal on both sides.
