Overview

The nVent F44LE9KOKT is a high-quality 90-degree counterclockwise transposition section designed for robust wireway management solutions. Manufactured by nVent, a trusted leader in electrical enclosure and connection systems, this elbow is engineered to facilitate seamless transitions in wire and cable routing. This specific transposition section is crucial when a 90-degree change in direction is required for your wireway run, while crucially maintaining the "lay-in" feature. This means cables can be easily inserted and removed from the side of the wireway without the need to pull them through the entire length, significantly simplifying installation, maintenance, and future modifications. The counterclockwise orientation ensures precise directional control for complex routing configurations. Constructed from durable steel and finished in a neutral gray, the F44LE9KOKT offers excellent structural integrity and resistance to environmental factors commonly found in industrial settings. Its 4.00x4.00 inch dimensions are standard for many industrial applications, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of nVent wireway systems and accessories. The robust construction guarantees longevity and reliable performance even under demanding operational conditions. Key features and benefits of the nVent F44LE9KOKT include: * **Lay-In Capability:** Simplifies cable installation and maintenance by allowing side access. * **90-Degree Transition:** Facilitates sharp directional changes in wireway runs. * **Counterclockwise Orientation:** Provides specific directional routing control. * **Durable Steel Construction:** Ensures long-term reliability and protection for cables. * **Gray Finish:** Offers a professional aesthetic and basic corrosion resistance. * **Manufacturer Reputation:** Backed by nVent's commitment to quality and innovation in electrical infrastructure. How to Install the Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and assembling the Lay-In Wireway, ensuring proper sealing and support.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Wire connectors

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the installation details.

  2. Seal the joints

For joints between lay-in sections, position the LSGQR fitting, leaving out the top flange screw on the hinge side. Install a shoulder bolt through the flange and ensure gaskets are visible from above.

  3. Install box entries

Make a cutout in the enclosure for the wireway entry. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, and install another gasket between the wireway section and the enclosure surface.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting. Insert the body into the straight section and adjust to the desired length.

  5. Anchor the telescope fitting

Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws through the holes and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.
