The nVent F22LXL is a 2.50 x 2.50 inch (64 x 64 mm) gray steel cutoff fitting designed for industrial conduit systems. This lay-in type fitting features a hinged cover for easy access. How to Install the Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and sealing the Lay-In Wireway sections and fittings.

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Sealing plates

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them with screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Seal the joints

    After installing the wires, seal each joint between the sections using either the LSGQR fitting or the 90° sealing plate method as described in the installation instructions.

  3. Install box entries

    Make a cutout in the control enclosure for the box connector, position the gasket inside the enclosure, and install the sealing plate as per the instructions.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

    Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length.

  5. Anchor telescope fitting

    If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting, then install screws and cap nuts.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

    Ensure that the wireway is level and securely mounted, making adjustments as necessary to maintain proper alignment.
