Constructed from Type 316L stainless steel with a 320-grain brushed finish, it offers superior corrosion resistance. This enclosure meets IP66 and NEMA Type 4X ratings, ensuring protection against water and dust ingress. Its internal dimensions are 12x12x6 inches (305x305x152 mm), with a body and cover thickness of 1.5 mm. The enclosure includes a 2.0 mm galvanized steel mounting plate, welded wall-mounting brackets, and internal weld studs for panel or DIN rail mounting. A one-piece continuous gasket provides a secure seal, with standard polyurethane (-40°C to +70°C) and optional silicone (-55°C to +180°C) gasket options available. It features M6 brass bonding provisions for safety. Certified for 'Ex e' increased safety applications, it is suitable for housing electrical components in hazardous environments. This package includes the enclosure, cover, screws, mounting plate, and accessories. nVent HOFFMAN ATEX Ex e enclosures are not intended for use in explosion-proof or flame-proof (Ex d) applications.
