This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the EXAS100SS6 Hole Seal on a metallic enclosure to ensure a secure and safe seal for cable entries.

Screwdriver, Hex driver or wrench
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gasket, Outer plate, Retainer plate, Hex nut
- Check hole size
Verify the hole size in the enclosure matches the specifications for the EXAS100SS6. Clean and de-burr the hole, ensuring the edge is at least 12mm from the edge of the enclosure gland plate.
- Mount the gasket
Place the gasket onto the outer plate (item 1) to prepare for installation. Ensure it is aligned correctly for a proper seal.
- Fit the outer plate
Insert the outer plate and gasket into the cable entry from the outside of the enclosure. Ensure that the gasket aligns properly to seal the enclosure before proceeding to tighten.
- Secure the retainer plate
Mount the retainer plate (item 3) onto the stud and secure it with the hex nut (item 4) using a 3/8 in. hex driver or wrench. Torque to 18 in*lb (2 N*m) but do not over-tighten. Ensure the product label on the retainer plate is visible from inside the enclosure.
