Overview

The nVent EDHP13U is a 13U double-hinged steel enclosure (SKU: EDHP13U) designed for robust industrial applications. Constructed from 1.5 mm painted steel for the frame and 2 mm for doors, it offers substantial protection. The enclosure features a seam-welded reversed open profile frame with a 25 mm hole pattern, compliant with DIN 43660, and includes an integrated external hole pattern. Doors are mounted with four hinges and feature a door frame with a 25 mm hole pattern; they cannot be reversed. The rear panel is secured with M6 torx screws, and standard facilities for rear door mounting are included. Side panels are available as accessories, and the roof panel is removable. The primary door utilizes a 4-point espagnolette locking system, while the secondary door has a 2-point system, both equipped with a standard double-bit lock with a 3 mm insert. Bottom plates consist of three or four pieces depending on width. The enclosure includes front and side universal 19-inch hole patterns, adjustable in depth by 25 mm increments. All panels are earthed through their fittings and have a separate earthing stud. The frame, rear door, and roof plate are finished in RAL 7035 structured powder coating, while the 19-inch profiles are zinc-plated steel. It complies with IP55 and TYPE 12/13 ratings when fitted with plain front doors and side panels, and IK 10 impact resistance. Mounting requirements include readiness for combined installation, with side panels needed for closed sides in stand-alone installations. The front frame can be covered with FFC or fitted with a glazed or plain door. Delivery includes the frame with a fitted rear door, roof panel, bottom plates, 19-inch profiles at the front, and fixing brackets CIB. For enclosures 2200 mm in height, two CMB profiles mounted in depth are included. Earthing bolts are also supplied. The enclosure is delivered on a pallet identical to its width for baying without removal, and all packing material is recyclable. Its dimensions are 605x510mm (Height x Width).
