Overview

The nVent ED4PBXM is a drawn steel pushbutton enclosure designed to house four 22.5mm pushbuttons or switches in industrial control panels. Constructed from 16-gauge steel with a seamless, welded-seam-free design, this Type 4 enclosure provides superior protection against dust, dirt, oil, and water ingress per UL 508A, cUL, NEMA Type 4, and IEC 60529 IP66 standards. Its gray ANSI 61 polyester powder-coated finish resists corrosion and blends with most industrial environments. Measuring 10.25 x 4.00 x 2.75 inches (260 x 102 x 70 mm), the ED4PBXM offers ample internal space for wiring and component mounting. Factory-stamped 4-way pushbutton holes accommodate standard 22.5mm devices, while external welded mounting brackets simplify installation. The enclosure includes a bonding provision on the cover, a grounding stud on the body, and an oil-resistant gasket for enhanced sealing. Cover screws are positioned outside the gasket sealing surface to prevent ingress paths. Ideal for manufacturing, automation, food and beverage processing, and other harsh environments, the ED4PBXM ensures reliable operator interface protection with minimal maintenance. Its durable construction reduces downtime and extends the lifespan of control systems by safeguarding critical components from environmental hazards.
