How to Repaint Hoffman Enclosures
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for repainting Hoffman enclosures to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Sandpaper, Paint sprayer or brush
Supplies needed:
180 grit sandpaper, 220 or 240 grit sandpaper, Solvent, Paint (two-component epoxies, polyurethanes, or alkyd baking enamels)
- Prepare the surface
Thoroughly sand all enclosure surfaces with 180 grit sandpaper. For a smoother finish, follow up with 220 or 240 grit sandpaper.
- Clean the surfaces
Wet wipe all surfaces with a solvent to remove any possible contaminants that may affect paint adhesion.
- Apply paint
Apply two or three medium to light coats of paint, allowing two to three minutes of flash off time between coats.
