Overview

The nVent EBU5MBNCWCLE (SKU: EBU5MBNCWCLE) is a brass ATEX cable gland designed for secure, certified entry of non-armored cables into hazardous locations. It is certified for Zone 1, 2 (gas) and Zone 21, 22 (dust) applications, meeting ATEX and IEC standards including II2GD Ex d IIC Gb, Ex e IIC Gb, and Ex tb IIIC Db. This gland also holds UL Listing E474828. Featuring a metric M50x1.5 thread, it accommodates cable diameters from 24mm to 35mm using three removable chloroprene seals for flexible clamping. The kit includes a locknut and earth tag for grounding. Constructed from corrosion-resistant brass, it provides IP66/68 ingress protection. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 100°C. Ideal for industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, mining, and manufacturing, this gland ensures explosion protection, strain relief, and environmental sealing in demanding environments.
