Overview

The nVent EBU1NXSLE is a 316L stainless steel hazardous location cable gland designed for non-armored cables in Ex d, Ex e, and Ex tb applications. Certified to IEC/EN 60079-0, IEC/EN 60079-1, IEC/EN 60079-7, IEC/EN 60079-31, UL2225, and CAN/CSA standards, it meets ATEX and IECEx requirements for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 environments. The gland features a silicone seal for an operating temperature range of -60°C to 130°C and provides IP66/68 ingress protection. It includes a locknut and earth tag for installation, with an NPT 1/2" thread for secure mechanical connection. The 316L stainless steel construction ensures robust corrosion resistance, making it ideal for oil and gas, chemical processing, and mining industries where explosive gases or combustible dusts are present. Suitable for non-armored cables with outer diameters from 6.0mm to 12.0mm.
