How to Install the DAH8001B Electric Heater
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the DAH8001B electric heater safely and effectively.

- Disconnect power supply
Ensure that all power supplies to the enclosure are disconnected to avoid electric shock and equipment damage.
- Mount the heater
Secure the DAH8001B heater to a non-combustible metal panel using the four included 10−32 UNF self-tapping screws. Position the heater vertically with the terminal block at the bottom and the air outlet openings at the top.
- Connect wiring
Connect the heater lead wires to the appropriate A.C. power source, ensuring that the heater is properly grounded. Verify that exposed wires do not contact the heater housing.
- Set the thermostat
Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature, recommended not to exceed 75 F for most applications.
- Verify installation
Double-check all connections and ensure that the heater is securely mounted and properly configured before restoring power to the enclosure.
