Overview

The nVent CMC12 Mounting Channels provide a durable and versatile steel framework designed to support DIN rails and grid straps within industrial enclosures. Engineered for flexibility and strength, these channels enable precise installation of electrical and automation components in control panels, switchgear, and other critical infrastructure. Manufactured by nVent, a global leader in thermal management and electrical solutions, the CMC12 channels are built to meet the rigorous demands of modern industrial environments where reliability and ease of installation are paramount. These mounting channels are specifically designed to fit a 12.00-inch spacing, making them ideal for applications requiring standardized mounting configurations. The steel construction ensures high load-bearing capacity and resistance to mechanical stress, while the channel design allows for both vertical and horizontal mounting. This versatility is essential for professionals who need to optimize space within enclosures while maintaining accessibility for maintenance and future expansions. Key applications for the nVent CMC12 Mounting Channels include industrial control panels, automation systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and renewable energy installations. In control panels, these channels provide a stable foundation for DIN rail-mounted devices such as relays, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks. For automation systems, they support the organization of sensors, controllers, and other components, reducing clutter and improving operational efficiency. Telecommunications and data center environments benefit from the structured layout these channels provide, ensuring compliance with industry standards and facilitating quick access for troubleshooting or upgrades. Installation is straightforward, thanks to the channels' compatibility with collar studs and adjustable-depth mounting kits. This allows for precise alignment and secure attachment to enclosure walls or slide mechanisms, accommodating varying depths and configurations. The ability to mount vertically or horizontally provides engineers and technicians with the flexibility to design systems that maximize available space while adhering to safety and performance requirements. nVent’s reputation for quality and innovation in electrical and thermal management solutions makes the CMC12 Mounting Channels a trusted choice for professionals across industries. With a country of origin in the US, these channels meet stringent manufacturing standards, ensuring consistent performance and durability.
