Overview

This self-contained external housing measures 264x530x52mm and provides a protected environment for keyboards in manufacturing, oil and gas, water treatment, and transportation applications. The compartment features a lockable die-cast aluminum door with pushbutton latches, hinged along the bottom edge for easy access. A ball-bearing glide shelf with soft palm-rest supports the keyboard, while a sliding mouse tray (for PKBC6R variant) extends from beneath for ergonomic operation. The door includes a seamless foam-in-place gasket for a dust-tight seal, maintaining enclosure integrity. A hole and grommet in the rear provide cable access to the enclosure. Compatible with nVent CTKBC Single Tilt and CTKBCP Dual Tilt mechanisms for flexible mounting on pendant or pedestal systems, this unit ensures operator comfort and efficiency in high-interaction environments.
