The nVent COMPACT® CC2 Operator Interface Enclosure (SKU CCC456027) is a robust, Type 4X cast aluminum enclosure designed for demanding industrial applications. With external dimensions of 450x600x265mm, this enclosure provides ample protection for sensitive operator interface components and controls in corrosive environments. Constructed from seamless cast aluminum with no welded seams or sharp corners, it meets UL 508A Listed; Type 4, 4X, 12, 13 and NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, 12, 13 standards, as well as CSA File No. 42186 and IEC 60529, IP66 ratings. The enclosure features an oil-resistant, seamless foam-in-place gasket and tongue-and-groove sealing construction for superior environmental protection. Internal threaded bosses are provided for mounting optional panels, rails, and other components, simplifying customization. Stainless steel captivated cover screws are located outside the sealed area, and two grounding screws are integrated into the enclosure's back wall. The standard finish is RAL 7042 textured gray, inside and out, with custom colors available. This enclosure is ideal for control panels, HMI systems, and automation applications where reliable protection in harsh industrial settings is paramount. Compatible accessories include Hinge Kits (CCAHK), Mounting Bracket Kits (CCAMF series), Panels (CCAP series), and DIN Type Rails. Manufactured in the USA.
