How to Install and Adjust the CC4000 Enclosure and Keyboard
This guide provides instructions for mounting the CC4000 enclosure, with or without a keyboard, to a pedestal or pendent arm, and adjusting tension settings.
Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Drill
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws and hardware, Grounding wire
- Prepare Enclosure for Grounding
Ensure the enclosure is properly grounded. If necessary, prepare a 5mm (.197” to .200”) diameter hole for the grounding connection as indicated in the diagram on page 3.
- Install the Rear Cover
Attach the rear cover to the enclosure. Refer to the provided diagrams on page 3 for correct orientation and fastening points.
- Mount the Enclosure
Securely mount the CC4000 enclosure to your chosen pedestal or pendent arm using the appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure all connections are firm and stable. Refer to the specific assembly diagrams for your configuration (e.g., pages 4, 6, 9).
- Install the Keyboard (If Applicable)
If your configuration includes a keyboard, attach it to the enclosure using the designated mounting points and hardware. Ensure it is properly aligned before tightening (refer to pages 4 and 10).
- Adjust Keyboard Tension
Adjust the keyboard tension as needed to achieve the desired movement and stability. Follow the numeric steps implied in the documentation for precise adjustment of the keyboard mechanism (refer to pages 5, 7, and 10).
- Adjust Enclosure Tension
Adjust the enclosure tension to ensure the enclosure remains in the desired position. Refer to the tension adjustment sections on pages 5 and 7 for guidance on setting the enclosure's rotational resistance.
- Modify for Cable Run (Optional)
If a cable run on top of the pedestal base is desired, modify item 17 as instructed in the documentation on page 8 to accommodate the cable path.
