How to Install the AL3CR Latch Kit
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AL3CR latch kit, ensuring proper assembly and functionality.

Tools needed:
Drill, Screwdriver, Wire strippers
Supplies needed:
Nylon washers, Handle gasket, Latch rods, Roller pin, Retaining ring
- Drill holes for latch installation
Locate and drill holes in the door from the outside edges using the specified dimensions. Ensure not to drill holes for rod guides.
- Install nylon washers and handle gasket
Place nylon washers and the handle gasket on the outside of the door to ensure proper sealing before attaching the latch.
- Adjust latch rods as necessary
If the latch rod is too long, select the appropriate hole and cut the latch rod approximately 3/8 inch from the center of the hole. Confirm the hole selection before cutting.
- Secure the roller pin
Insert the roller pin into the designated hole and secure it with the retaining ring. Adjust the position of the roller pin if gasket compression is too great.
- Position the latch
Use the provided washers to position the latch by spacing it in or out as required for proper alignment.
