Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Latch rods, Roller pins, Retaining rings, Spacers, Gasket
- Drill holes for the handle
Locate and drill holes in the door from the outside edges using the dimensions provided in the installation guide. Ensure that you do not drill holes for the rod guides.
- Assemble the handle and latch stop
Select the appropriate latch rod stop for the correct handle rotation. Assemble the handle parts and the latch stop as shown in the installation guide.
- Install latch rods and secure
If the latch rod(s) is too long, select the proper hole and cut the latch rods approximately 3/8 inch from the center of the desired hole. Place the roller pin in the designated hole and secure it with the retaining ring.
- Adjust latch position
Position spacers for the proper location of the latch. Use the provided washers to adjust the position of the latch as required for proper sealing.
- Verify installation
Before energizing any circuits, check all internal and external electrical and mechanical clearances to ensure that all assembled equipment functions safely and properly.
