Overview

The nVent AFS14084-316 is a wall-mounted hygienic enclosure designed for demanding industrial environments. Constructed from AISI 316L pre-grained stainless steel (1.5 mm body, 1.5 mm door), it offers superior corrosion resistance suitable for food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing. The enclosure features an integral sloping roof (8-20 degrees) with a 10mm overhang to prevent liquid accumulation and facilitate drainage, enhancing hygiene. It boasts an IP66 protection rating, meeting Type 4X, 12, 13, and IK 10 impact resistance standards. The dimensions are 1400x800x400 mm, providing ample space for electrical and control systems. It includes a 2 mm galvanized steel mounting plate marked at 10 mm intervals for easy equipment positioning and features holes for cable fixing. The single door has a 130° opening and is secured by a Zamak double-bit 3 mm lock. Delivered with the enclosure, door, mounting plate, metallic key, and mounting accessories. Made in the US.

  • Cable access: No gland openings as standard.
