The nVent AFS12084 (SKU: AFS12084) is a wall-mounted hygienic enclosure constructed from AISI 304L/316L pre-grained stainless steel, designed for demanding industrial applications. Its dimensions are 1200x800x400 mm, with a body thickness of 1.5 mm and door thickness of 1.5 mm. The enclosure features an integral sloping roof at an 8-20 degree angle with a 10 mm overhang, designed to direct liquids away from the door, preventing accumulation. This design, combined with an IP66 protection rating, ensures robust defense against dust and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for Type 4X, 12, and 13 environments. The single door is surface mounted with 130° opening and concealed AISI 304 stainless steel hinges with a captive pin, allowing for left or right-hand opening with required machining. It includes a Zamak double-bit 3 mm lock with 90° movement. The included 2 mm galvanized steel mounting plate is marked at 10 mm intervals for easy equipment positioning and features holes for cable fixing. The enclosure is strengthened by folded edges on sides 800 mm and above. Delivery includes the enclosure, door, mounting plate, metallic key, and mounting accessories. This product is manufactured in the US.
